quiet late night musings

Drifting eyes they met
Anticipation lingers
Walk with me tonight

Destruction lives on
Charred leaves mouldering ashes
The end of times

Perfection in white
Face of a generation
Defeated in black

Repent now my son
Feel what you once felt
Be me
Don't leave me to die

These few came out of a night where I could not fall asleep due to my obsession now with thinking in haiku form. Yes, that is incredibly odd, but whatever, I might kind of like it.

haiku due

Life is the summer
Turning the black into white
Soon the tides will turn

Foggy night rolls in
Masking the darkness it shields
Unholy notions

Just the beginning
Neither just or the starting
Point of no return

Metallic clanging
Destruction of nature's world
Let the good times roll

Red velvet sky-line
Casting a crimson shadow
Bring down the red dawn

Sorry about these haiku, none of them are really that great or special, I just felt like I needed to post something just out of sheer boredom. Actually, that last one is not that bad, that one deserves a read.
